Architectural Interior Design:

This complete interior architecture and bespoke cabinetry commission seamlessly blends dramatic structural features with an edgy, colourful retro aesthetic.

Brief:

Our brief was to design and build a high-impact entrance hall, a feature staircase, and a modern family living room complete with an integrated mini-library.

A Statement Entrance Framed by Nature:

The core architectural intervention of this renovation is the feature staircase. Engineered with a full structural glass backdrop, the staircase acts as a transparent frame for the sweeping countryside views, flooding the entire entrance hall with vast amounts of natural light. The design transforms a functional transitional zone into a dramatic, light-filled gallery space.

Balancing Mid-Century Retro Style with Modern Architecture:

It was imperative that the interior styling embraced our clients’ passionate love for colourful, eclectic retro design without competing with the home's clean, modern lines. By thoughtfully curating a mixture of furniture finishes, statement art, and design eras, we seamlessly integrated the clients' existing vintage pieces into the fresh layout. The result is an authentic, deeply personal interior that feels collected rather than styled.

Understated Bespoke Joinery for an Uncluttered Living Room:

To maintain a serene, calm atmosphere within the family living room, the custom storage solutions needed to be exceptionally discreet. We designed and built bespoke modern white library cabinets featuring an integrated central window reading seat.

Paired with minimalist, low-profile media base units for the TV and hidden storage, this cabinetry was intentionally styled to be understated. By keeping the joinery flush and neutral, the furniture provides essential utility without distracting from the room's vibrant artwork and mid-century statement pieces.
