Complete Interior Design, Procurement and Project Management for a Home Office in Reigate, Surrey.
The brief was to design a contemporary home office with a subtle masculine undertone, incorporating a touch of tradition with antique mahogany furniture to compliment my clients’ existing antique mahogany desk. It was also important that there was not only practical working and storage space, but also a space to escape work and relax when required. A neutral textured linen wallpaper was used, with one wall in a slightly darker colour to compliment the slate blue colour in the scheme. Splashes of mustard yellow tied in with a colour picked from an existing art canvas to add a layer of interest and masculinity to the room. Matching antique mahogany furniture was commissioned to match the traditional mahogany desk and ensure all storage needs were met. Creating a homely office away from work, a tranquil space to either work or unwind.
