Initial Consultation
Our service begins with a free of charge initial consultation at your home. During this meeting we learn about your personality, style and individual lifestyle, tastes and aspirations & what is important to you in creating the new scheme. At this meeting we would also discuss budgets & time scale so that the project can progress smoothly. We can then use this information to advise on which design package would suit you best or to tailor the design package that suits your needs perfectly. This meeting is followed up with a written proposal and detailed quote fully specifying your design needs & if agreed we progress to the next stage of the design process.
Interior Design Service
After formally accepting our services your first design meeting will be arranged at your convenience where we survey your room(s). Throughout your following design meetings we will have more detailed discussions about your vision for your project, covering all aspects of your brief: likes, dislikes, room function, space organisation, colour, lighting & window treatments. Furniture and finishes are sourced worldwide with all samples and proposed finishes presented to you for discussion and approval. We believe that it is very important to engage and work together with you as the project evolves in order to ensure that the finished project does not only meet all your functional needs, but is also a true reflection of you.
Once you are happy with all aspects & details for your new room a design for each room is presented, showing the use of space, any structural modifications, proposed furniture layouts, colour scheme, furniture pieces, lighting specifications, finishes & fabrics. We produce plans, elevations & sample boards to demonstrate colour schemes, wall and window treatments along with fabrics and finishes. Following this presentation, schemes are revised where necessary until you are completely happy. It is also at this stage that we produce provisional costings for all relevant works, furniture and finishes & in order to give you the best value, all items are supplied with the benefit of discounts where available.
Project Management & Co-ordination
Once the detailed design plan and costs have been given the go ahead, LT Designs offers a full architectural and project management service for all our projects. This service is especially beneficial for our busy clients who don’t have time to be on site and manage the project themselves. This involves us overseeing all aspects of the project: preparation of schedules, organizing and coordinating tradesmen and all installations, specification of bespoke pieces, ordering of all finishes, furniture & soft furnishings. Once construction and decoration are completed we arrange for a full site clean before the arrival and installation of furniture and soft furnishings. We keep you updated on the progress of the project, which is managed and monitored on site on a regular basis. Any snagging issues are resolved quickly and efficiently to your satisfaction.
We coordinate the delivery, installation & positioning of all furniture, furnishings, art work and home accessories at this stage, to create the finished look, dressing your new interior with your new & existing treasures, to give each room your own personal stamp.
